I (30F) consider myself emotionally intelligent, independent, and selective when it comes to dating. I’m not looking to be completed — I want a partner who complements me. Someone I admire, grow with, feel inspired by.

And I do meet those people.
Smart, grounded, charismatic, creative.
However: they’re never actually available.

They live in another country.
They’re in an open relationship (with vague boundaries).
They’re “figuring themselves out.”
They say all the right things… and then disappear.
They stay in touch just enough to keep the door slightly open, but never walk through it.

I’ve also tried dating more “available” men, but they’re too available, and therefore not igniting my best behaviour.

I deserve love.
And I want to share my love with someone who actually deserves it — someone who can meet me, fully.

Is that too much to ask?
