I'm pretty knowledgable on certain parts of Europe (especially Ireland), but am curious how these opinions vary across the entire EU.

  1. Most people agree it’s a real thing, some don’t obviously too, but the effects of it are pretty minimal here so most people aren’t worried tbh. Unless the Gulf Stream collapses lol.

The 2022 Northern Ireland climate change act was just used as a way to block a major and important road upgrade here in western in Northern Ireland, so be interesting to see if that puts people off caring about climate change. As this road is badly needed.

  2. It’s totally politicized here. It’s either denialism or alarmism. There’s nothing in between.

  3. Norway.

We strive for carbon neutrality. We all know that cows emit a lot of carbon. For that reason it has been decided to slaughter cows as early as possible to reduce carbon emissions. Most cows never get past being a calf for that reason.

However, pigs has been found to reduce emissions. Therefore we breed pigs en masse, so that they can eat and reduce carbon emissions.

So far, we have reduced emissions by 4,3% by since starting this.

  4. We had good changes in this direction before 2022. Now we have ecological disasters and crises… Kahovska Dam, dirty soil with iron, corps, liquids, dirty air with smoke of burning oil, gas and other liquids…

  5. I will tell you my opinion this weekend when new heat wave strikes

Just kidding, humanity fucked up, I made up few reckless faults myself, grilled on coal, drove a car and so on… but my modest home is on a way to airport, and I see 100 times more aieplanes than I saw when I was a little kid, I think now there isnt house in the world which at least 10 planes dont fly over daily. Thats whats killing us, take the damn train if you dont have to cross the ocean, you will see wonderful landscapes, and help preserve them, if you travel less than 300 km with plane, you are officially an asshole

  6. It’s politicized to hell and back, of course. But overall the Orbán regime is not denying it, per se, it just shrugs it off because they have immense interests in 1. construction, 2. battery factories. So.

  7. Finland. I can only speak of how I personally perceive the opinions of the masses. There’s a fair share of deniers as there is elsewhere. I believe the majority understands human induced climate change is real. But at the same I think most are not really that worried of the consequences of climate change. Some even think that climate change is good for Finland. Also when it comes to reducing emissions, “Doesn’t matter what we do because China and India…”, seems to be a common opinion.
