What hypocritical behavior have you personally experienced from men?

It’s a very “everything you can do I can do better but I won’t do it because I shouldn’t have to but you should” kinda thing with them. Anything from texting to planning dates to research to answering questions in class to arguing/discussing feelings to being vulnerable. Literally today wrote a post about how I don’t know what men see as effort in relationships and someone said “yeah you just wrote how women receive effort” and I’m like well yeah I’m a woman but this is how I show effort and listed things and was told I’m showing effort wrong and basically not showing any effort at all. So 🤷🏽♀️
“calm down, you’re too emotional” then they go punch a hole in the wall 🙄
I think the most prevalent hypocrisy I see from men is their attitude towards sex in general: Men who have had many partners are still considered the studs but god forbid a woman enjoy sex and have a bunch of experiences of her own.
I also tend to see a lot of men throw the word “crazy” around too much. Just a quick note there fellas: if *every* woman you date turns out to be “crazy”….maybe it’s not them.

I don’t go to male doctors all too often because they more often than not, blame it on my period. Which is bullshit and I should know because I was once in serious pain that caused me to collapse to the ground writhing in agony for an indeterminate amount of time. I went to a doctor and they claimed it was period cramps and yet it continued no matter what. So I went to a female doctor to get a second opinion and she figured out it was something else entirely. She gave me medicine to help and soon enough it was gone entirely! I am not going to sit here and say I don’t trust all male doctors. Because I have had plenty of good male doctors but I still prefer a female doctor if given the option.
Being all like “Oh, I’m such an animal lover, everyone hurting a puppy should be shot!” and then eating meat.
Men claiming that women need them for protection.
Getting called a slut for enjoying sex…like ok, would you rather I just lay there like a starfish and make you do all the work?
Calling a woman shallow for rejecting him because she was not physically attracted to him, after he approached her because he was physically attracted to her.
Edit: Also, having no problem with high beauty standards as long as those high beauty standards are not a two-way street
They can have like a body count of 100, but if you had recently been involved with someone before meeting them, they get upset 🤣

He was insecure about my friends showing platonic affection to me, saying it was proof that they were trying to “steal” me or get in my pants, literally pulled some of them aside and privately told them to stop hugging me, sitting close to me on the couch, etc.
While he was obsessively masturbating to all of his women friends and coworkers like a creep. 🤷♀️
White guys joining a class or group that decenters cis white maleness, and then dominating the conversation and talking over everyone all the time.
Male doctors. They tend to relate everything with being an emotional female.
When women lag behind men, like professionally or wages, it’s because they aren’t as good, don’t try as hard, aren’t as committed, etc.
When boys/men lag behind girls/women, like in school or college, it’s because the system is set up against them.
Wanting a virgin who loves giving blow jobs. They don’t seem to understand that people who wait until their 20s to have sex are uptight and have a lot of shameful feelings (or religious trauma for example) about sex. They are not the ones riding reverse cowboy fully naked with the lights on. At least until they find a partner they who has proven they could be trusted overtime
All of it
It’s ok that he has 3 kids by 3 women and is all fine about being whorish, but if you’re a single mom, ew no, that’s a deal breaker. Nevermind that he made 3 single moms 🙄
All of them
I was treating him like my partner.
He did too.
He introduced me to his grandparents.
I call him my boyfriend.
“We’re not even dating”
Month later he has another girlfriend.
Why even introduce me to family if you don’t think of me as your partner?
Thinking not shaving is gross but being covered in body hair
He was constantly putting me and my hobbies down, saying that some other guy was going to “steal me”. For example, I’d go out for a run or a bike ride, and he’d pout about it. He wanted a fit, happy girlfriend who only spent time on *him* and not actually doing the things that made her fit and happy.
Then I caught *him* having multiple affairs.
I guess I’ll weigh in too. We all have that one boyfriend who taught us a hard life lesson, and this was the one for me.
He had issues with me being friends with men, but when I called him out on having female friends, he looked at me like I was nuts for saying such a thing.
“You think you know me! I know better” As they roll up with no information….
***YES! WHO ELSE DID ALL THE F-CKING RESEARCH?! ***
Men who say women are feminist until they have to pay the bill for us. Well that’s ironic isn’t it. I always try and pay the bill to stop this awkwardness which I feel men create. I’m definitely not a feminist but these men give a good case for it. Regardless of gender if you don’t want to pay don’t – if you do then do – nothing worse to me than someone paying and felt hard done by. I had a date moan once I ordered a glass of wine when he only had a soft drink but insisted he had to pay the bill when I said I’ll pay it about 12 times. So grim feeling that way I’m happy to pay because in all likelihood I probably earn more than you and mainly I would rather they shut up. It’s not 1950 I’m not asking for anything. Pay if you want or expect to be paid for/ or go Dutch whatever but no one’s under duress when you put it into perspective. I want what I want in a restaurant which may be 4 mains 5 cocktails and 2 desserts that ain’t got any relevance to who’s sat on the opposite side of the table. Just let me be thankyou and please Alan Sugar.
I won’t be coy about it, I drive an expensive, rare car. If a guy owns a nice vehicle it’s because he worked his ass off for it. If I have one it was clearly given to me or I had to blow somebody for it.
