17 years for me in the same business, just managed to survive.
I want to be rich too, but tight now, just try and make it to the next day.

pick something really dangerous that nobody wants to do and keeps you away from family for a long time. something like ocean oil pumps.
Create, invent, help, or destroy. If not that then join the military. In 8 years walk out with a degree, and a couple rentals in varying places or flip houses on the move. Assuming you’re in the US and capable of making sacrifices for your goals.
Marry rich
