TL;DR: My boyfriend said that he doesn’t know if he loves me and I’m not sure what to do.
My boyfriend(28M) said that he doesn’t know if he loves me (28F) or not but he does know he deeply cares about me. We’ve been together for about 1.5 years. We’ve previously dated in college where we told each other that we love each other. I don’t want to pressure him into saying he loves me just cause I love him, however, I would be lying if I said that it doesn’t hurt that he doesn’t love me back.
I can see the relationship going far. I love his family and they love me so much. I’m in a family group chat with his family. They’re constantly inviting my family and I to family events. I’ve been on trips with them too. They’re a family you would like to marry into. His friends like me a lot too.
We talk about marriage, future children, and where we would like to settle down at. Like I feel like the relationship is going well it’s just that he doesn’t know if he loves me. I honestly don’t know what to do.
What would you do in this situation? Has anyone been in a similar situation?
