I’m a woman and a shower thought I recently had is how come we hear about a lot of deadbeat dads but not a lot of deadbeat moms? It seems like when a woman is pregnant, they develop strong maternal instincts which is true but since men can’t get pregnant, they are not gonna feel the strong protective energy for their child like a mother does. But what kind of man do you have to be to completely ditch your kid and not want to be in their life? For me, that mentality is sociopathic. But men, how do you guys think? Do you guys have less emotion in general?
Edit: guys i was not trying to stir the pot. maybe it’s because i am a woman calling out something negative i’ve noticed in deadbeat men. but i am not saying all of you are deadbeats. now that i understand this subreddit better, i won’t come in here asking no more questions that call out negative qualities. my bad guys!
