31 F, from Melbourne Australia. Maybe I'm just a hopeless romantic stuck in a hookup culture. But how hard is it to find a guy on a dating app (or anywhere) that wants a serious relationship and kids? I don't think they exist 😂 or I'm so sick of finally finding someone who I might click with, we organise a date and then next minute they just ghost you. I get that's obviously a them problem but it's still hurtful :/ it's like dating apps are just this different dimension where it's ok to treat people like trash!

I've also done speed dating, singles events, general meet up events and usually bond more with the girls there unfortunately. I'd really like to say I'm not giving up but it's incredibly hard when you see all your friends settling down and you feel a bit left behind.

I have a great life otherwise. I work in healthcare and I absolutely love what I do. My work colleagues are great. I've got good friends and family. I love cooking, baking, reading, a good Netflix binge, true crime podcast, hiking and getting out into nature. I've travelled to over 41 countries (I joke that I keep travelling because no one wants to date me 🤣). I just genuinely want someone to share my life with
