Are the physical buttons in your cars written in different languages depending on the country or are they in English?

Apparently, it's common in other countries like Japan and China for the physical buttons on cars to be written in English since it's one of the major world languages. I know that the buttons on cars in Mexico are like this too, and not written in Spanish.
