  1. Vegetables. I dated a guy a couple years ago who literally only had about 20 cans of Pepsi Max, butter and tomato sauce in his fridge at any point in time. Mind you we dated for 6 months.

  2. Really anything that shows that they’re able to make proper food for themselves. Fresh produce, condiments, etc. Not just prepackaged instant food. Shows that they care about themselves and are self sufficient.

  3. It’s clean.

People neglect their fridges often. I hate seeing grime and moldly/improperly stored food

  4. In addition to what others said, that it’s stocked with food. Maybe some homecooked leftovers in there as well. So many guys have practically empty fridges!

  5. At this point: no human head.

I dated the “dream guy” that many of you describe here who had fresh veggies and a clean fridge.

Turns out the rest of his apartment was a hoarders wet dream and he didn’t know how to shower properly.

  6. Clean fridge, fresh produce, and minimal junk food (or none at all). Some snacks are OK.

Also, none of the stuff are way past their due date. Especially like dairy

  7. it’s properly filled, meaning it’s clean, no rotten vegetables, leftovers are properly covered, things are not falling as soon as you open the door and there is a balance to what it contains. If I open a fridge and see 10+ cans of beer, eggs and condiments, that’s not someone I can vibe with. (even as friends)

  8. While we’re on the subject, would an entire shelf of muscle milk be a red flag, or just unusual?

  9. No rotting food. I’ve seen moldy leftovers stacked away for days, even weeks, without any intention of eating it.

  10. A clean fridge. No crumbs &

vegetables that look like they have been used.
By this I mean half a packet of mushrooms, half used lettuce.

  11. Hygiene. First thing.
Then comes vegetables and meat protein.
And how well organized it is. Everything is in its place, not haphazardly thrown into fridge like a dumpster.
