Is support steadily growing?

  1. Yes, in general since they won the World Cup 2023 there has been more interest and more media coverage of women’s football. Although it’s still nowhere near the level of attention given to the men’s game

  2. Its broadcasted on public television. However it seems a bit like some media are pushing it to be more important than it is. I think most people did hear or read there is a tournament. But thats about it. Our team is not so great and I guess when they are eliminated the little attention there is will fade away.

  3. It seems to be quite popular here in the UK. It is on TV a lot. I’m not into football (men or women) so not sure how popular it really is. I also work with people who are not in to any type of football so there isn’t even any chat around the office to make a comparison that way.

  4. I watch women’s football regularly but one thing that ruined the euros for me as a Dane is the referees. Instead of using the best referees available we only use women referees. I get that we want more women representation in football, but please uphold an international standard.
