Why do you believe in karma?

  1. It’s science. For every fundamental particle, exists an antiparticle. Like duality, or yin and yang.

  2. It’s blind belief based on experience lol. I just feel like, in my life, without fail, too many good things have always been followed by bad things—and vice versa.

  3. in a way. Not in a higher power way but in rings in the water way. If im nice, helpfull and kind people have a perception of me and are more likely to be nice, helpfull and kind torch me

  4. I don’t. Bad people thrive. Good people suffer. There’s no rhyme or reason.

  5. I do not believe in karma in the mystical sense. It is not logical. That being said, when you are kind or hateful, that will spread to others. Not only that, it will affect society’s disposition toward you. This will affect your life in many ways. Everyone’s actions have a ripple effect. Your choices matter.

  6. I believe in karma the same way I “believe” in astrology or superstitions or the Force. It’s entertaining, a fun thing to speculate about or joke about, but not seriously. It’s not real.

Case in point, if karma were real, Trump would have had explosive diarrhea on national television and dropped dead while foaming at the mouth and crying for his mommy.

Last I checked, he was still alive

  7. Same reasons I believe in some kind of deity/power of the universe.

    1. Nearly every society that has ever existed has believed in some variation of it.

    2. I simply want to.

#2 is the only valid philosophical reason according to one of my professors back in CC, but #1 I think of all the time. I enjoy feeling connected to shared ancestors, as far back as I can imagine.

  8. when it comes to myself yes, when it comes to other people no. them evil mfs be thriving and i do one bad thing it comes back and bites me in the ass for yearssss
