  1. The travel subs are full of people worried about their upcoming trips to the US, some people even talking about cancelling them… mostly due to the Trump situation or more specifically the stories of people being arrested by ICE at the borders.

I know the US has a very large domestic tourism industry but still,I don’t think the current administration is going to be good for business there!

Those of you that are not already in the US..does the political situation make it less likely for you to visit the US?

  2. If you could go to a concert of any singer/group/musician who is no longer alive or no longer plays live, who would you choose to see?

Maybe excluding people you have actually already seen in real life! Someone you never saw play live.

  3. Yesterday evening there were 12,600 migrating cranes gathered in the wetland meadows at Pulken south of Kristianstad here in Scania – which is an all-time record for the nature reserve! And the peak of migration has likely not even arrived yet! Will be interesting to see if a new record might be set today as well. Have a look at them with the [live crane cam](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XZx_D7VvE3M), it’s an incredible sight – and also quite relaxing to watch them.

This morning I’m also watching Sweden’s quarter final game against China at the Women’s Curling World Championships! Sweden are one of the favorites of the tournament, along with especially Canada, Switzerland and host nation South Korea. Curling is such a great television sport, especially when guided by knowledgeable and pedagogic commentators like those we have in Sweden. It’s relaxing as well as incredibly exciting! Like a three hour long physical game of chess on ice with brooms. I have tried playing it myself just a few times, and it’s incredibly difficult! The quarter final game was actually played at two in the morning Swedish time though, so I’m watching it now afterwards on stream instead, while having breakfast. Unfortunately the Swedish broadcast can only be streamed within Sweden though.
