-9°C this morning (which is quite cold for these parts). For Thursday we’re expecting +15°C … crazy weather be crazy.
Last night I went to the theatre,to see a play that was almost completely in Sicilian… mostly local people there but I also came across a couple of Korean tourists.
I don’t know what they made of it,as they couldn’t really speak more than a few words of Italian, never mind Sicilian.But they seemed to enjoy it and quite a lot was also sung…. the play had a traditional Sicilian style arrangement, with a group of singers who appeared between acts (accompanied by guitar and piano).
I was invited for coffee yesterday but didn’t know that the meeting place was a smoking cafe. When I came back I put my jumper on the balcony to air but didn’t wash it, since I had only worn it for a couple of hours. Big mistake. After it warmed up with my body heat, it started smelling again. I might have to change later.
It’s crazy to think that we used to go clubbing and stuff and come back absolutely reeking of smoke. I remember the one time when I came home at 6 in the morning, dead tired, but after 5 minutes in bed had to get up and take a shower because I stank so badly. This is the last time I am going to a smoking cafe or pub. That shit’s disgusting.
I received an (official) email about an online seminar, and the banner is so obviously made with AI (they also disclose it, but even if they didn’t, it’s obvious a million miles away). And may I say, it looks like shit. Come on people.
