In Portugal we have a song called "mar salgado" aka "salted sea" that's that the opening verse is "oh salted sea/ how much of your salt/ are tears from Portugal". This is not only about our past but even nowadays we often loose people/Sailors/fisherman at sea. I think this song tell a lot about my people.as a person that was raised by the sea this song is very speacial to me.
