I'm from small town America, so we don't have transit or big events, but when I've gone into the cities, people seem to blatanly disregard these rules. And as someone who's asthmatic and just as a person believing in common decency, this gets me angry. It has happened twice to me, once on a transit train involving multiple people and once in an arena involving multiple people. I'm planning to eventually move to somewhere in Western or Central Europe, and I'm wondering if I can count on being able to use transit and go to events with no issue.
