Hi all!
I am thinking to take a small personal exploration gap of three months next year.
I am looking for a European city with the following:
- walkable
- with amazing public libraries (and books in English)
- lots of sports to do, and possibly some nature around/easy to reach
- with conferences, cultural events
- easy to socialise?
- cheap, in the sense of not levels of Milan/Paris, etc…
The city that comes closer to my knowledge Cambridge, UK, but it is does not have a wide variety of sports, and it can be quite boring. I saw Heidelberg, and looks quite nice in the pictures, but do not know much about it. Madrid seems nice too, but it is quite large.
