Pretty amazing Olympics day yesterday! Both Pakistan and Botswana got their first gold medal. The Pakistani guy was especially pretty incredible, beating everyone twice. As far as I understood, he did all his training with subpar equipment and with a discus coach instead of javelin (actually plenty of people were saying that his technique seems quite weird 🤣 but it gets the job done, it seems.)
Did you guys ever try any sports for throwing stuff far? That seems like so much fun. My mom used to be a hammer thrower in school. That was when Turkish schools still had decent sports.
