What are some of the biggest winners on a TV gameshow in your country?
I'm including wins in multiple episodes (for example shows that have returning champions) but not lottery shows.
For Italy, there have been six €1 000 000 winners so far. Nobody has won more than one million at the moment.
The million was won once on Cultura Moderna (a game about guessing a celebrity from some clues), twice on Deal or No Deal (watch one here) and three times on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, the latest was in 2020
The interesting part about the latest winner is, he was not there for the money. By the time his application was accepted, he moved to Singapore and got a good job. He just wanted to see how far he could go.
