  2. Congratulations to Ireland for their gold medal yesterday! It’s the first time I heard the Irish anthem. Daniel Wiffen is not only an excellent swimmer, he seems to be a cool dude, too (and looks like Irish Harry Potter).

    I am very curious about how they’ll proceed with the open water swimming events since Seine seems to be shitty (who knew). It’s weird that this is even an issue considering that France has gorgeous open waters up and down the country. (I just saw that triathlon is on again, so it seems to be fine at least for now. Last I heard they were talking about a duathlon lmao)

    But okay, let’s talk mustard.

    My husband planted mustard on an empty spot this year, just to get the soil rested and to see if mustard greens are good as vegetables (not really). But the bees loved them and we got quite a lot of mustard seeds, probably around 200 g. Now the question is, what to do with them? Whole grain mustard, hot, smooth mustard, a mix of both? Do I add anything like honey or herbs?

    So many questions.

  3. I have a bit of a weird question… do you think it ever happened that an athlete just disappeared after the Olympics? I mean, considering through which hardships refugees have to go to reach their destinations, I am wondering if it ever happened that an athlete just took the chance and bolted after the Olympics rather than going back.

I’m a Taylor Swift fan and her concert in Warsaw is tomorrow, and I just heard yesterday that they’re going to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Warsaw uprising tomorrow, including air raid sirens and Polish military aircraft in the sky…? Is that correct? I’m wondering how concertgoers from other countries are warned about this in advance so they don’t, you know, absolutely lose their shit thinking something serious happened?
