Hi! I am s citizen of a very conservative homophobic hellhole which has fallen into fascist dictatorship, and naturally, I hate it. When I went abroad, I finally felt a bit safer to express my opinions and my preferences, but it will take time for me to heal, and I am working on it. However, when I went to Estonia, I chatted with a random guy and shared my feelings and said that I don't see the country I grew up in as my true homeland. To which he recommended me to not say that to anyone, because it sounds bad, akin to talking shit about your ex boss. Hence, the question:
In your country, do you think my opinions would be seen as unlikeable, especially at a workplace?
