Here, they are often seen in main squares, usually teens (sometimes accompanied by adults) who follow and ask for money. They are typically in torn or stained clothes, very dusty, and use terms like 'sis' or 'bro' to appeal to empathy. The common advice is to offer them food instead of money, as they need to give the money to those they are working for. However, when I tried to buy them food with the little money I had left, they surprised me by carefully selecting the most expensive items and expecting me to pay for them (which I couldn't afford). After that, they rudely dismissed me and left the store yelling.
