Is there a bigger cultural difference between the northernmost and southernmost regions in your country or easternmost and westernmost?

In Austria it’s for sure the east-west, as our country is already very long east-west but not tall north-south, and the cultural differences between Vienna and Vorarlberg for example are quite obvious in language, attitude, music, food, clothing, politics, etc.
