I noticed that when Germans are invited to US late night or whatever shows its always about them being German. As an example a lot of talk is basically about mocking German language or dialect in a stereotypical way. My impression is that its rarely about the person sitting there but rather about “look! we have ze Germans here!”
I dont have this impression when I see shows where people from other nationalities are invited. Am I mistaking here or can someone give me some insight?
